2nd week of Trials

It’s the 2nd week of trials. Actually I find trials not that stressful. I guess everyone’s fed up of exams. And eventually became numb with it.

I had been indulging in the old time tv series on the Hallmark channel – The Nanny. Very scintillating! I often laugh my butt off! Which is why I don’t have one now! Nah, kidding, I still have my big butt. I reckon if anyone still watches the show. ( Nanny Fran? Mr. Sheffield? Niles the butler? C.C. Babcock? Maggie, Brighton and Gracie the kids? ) Ring any bells?

Another series is The Amazing Race Asia season 3! Why do they always have to blame their partners? Boy, I hope I’d get to participate one day. If I could, I will.

The papers said that the education ministry is going to revert maths and science back to B.M.! Do you know how hard it is to study in BM!!!!??? And the language is not artistic nor beautiful at all. The language is full of plagiarisms! [ carbon dioxide - karbon dioksida ] how rojak this is. Oh ya, speaking of BM, the literature sucks! I can still bear with the BM poems. But the short stories are intolerable! The story lines sank under mediocrity. ( tsk tsk, even a 10 year old have better imagination, shame on you ) For example, Encik Pung is a female??!! For pete’s sake! There loads of female names okay! And that name might probably turn off any love making mood. ( She’s a concubine ) Back to my point, learning maths and science in BM is a total waste. Wake up! BM is no longer the lingua franca. Gosh, they’re still living in their “Zaman Kegemilangan Melayu” which is not so “gemilang” now. Oh well, thank God that I’m learning it in English.

I’m considering of blogging at blogspot. Forgive me wordpress! *sense of betrayal* I’ll let you guys know my new site when I’m done “constructing” it. Which is probably after my trials. Stay tuned!

Fishing

It rained heavily these few days.

The water flowed ferociously along the drain beside my house.

Along with the water, there were lots of fishes!

So mom, dad and I went fishing. Not the rod and bait type, we used the net to catch. Classic.

Sorry to disappoint you guys. To my dismay, kitty didn’t eat the fish. All of the fishes were returned to the drain because they all jumped out of the pail where Dad puts them. And they’re still alive.

The Way You Look Tonight

It’s been a long lapse. I remembered how we dressed to installation last year.. I have that sunburn mark on my shoulder from the trip to Bukit Merah last year. I got it one week before installation and it’s still kinda obvious when I went for installation. *yuck* Oh well, forget about it.

It seems that we had a major transformation. NO MORE FREAKY FRINGES. Ha! And we grew taller. *yay!*

She insists us calling her “the ever sexy/gorgeous Ruth”. Love ya girl!

She loves kisses therefore I gave her one. *muah* Juicy!

The Chronology of My Cat Woo-ing Mission

I waited patiently for you to come back again.

Slowly you drew near to me. My heart was beating fast. So did yours.

You looked up and our eyes met. Oh, those gentle eyes. Again, I was lost in those eyes.

Ok I’m done telling stories. Basically the cat just came by every now and then. When I threw some prawns on the ground, it dashes like the wind and ate it. Then it quickly withdrew itself. Slowly it became familiar with my right hand but it hissed like the cobra when my foot was getting near. It’s still paranoid and runs away when people approaches it but IT’LL BE MINE ONE DAY.

Oh ya, my cousin sis (Deh Sze) is back from Moscow. She hid in my room and I screamed like a sissy when I opened the door. ( you’re gonna pay )

Little Less Conversation

Exam is boh-ring.

I feel like yodeling on top of my lungs at the peak of mount Everest.

Don’t worry, I’m still sane.

I guess I’m not the type of “home person”. Can’t wait for my sister or cousin to come back and take me out, for a ride, to eat, anything!

AND I MISS MY CAT A LOT

I miss it’s meow, it’s fur, it’s tits, it’s tail, it’s everything.

It’s disappearance is still a mystery.

Sigh exams… I remember Emily from M.A.D camp told me this

“Just think of the days after exams…”

Damn right.

Next up!

Piano exam & Undang test ( a step closer to get my car license! ) I know, I know, I should have taken the test earlier with the advantage of being born early. But having the test with your friends is much better, right?

Life’s full of exams, tests, trials yada yada yada…

The Orphanage

isited the orphanage today [Rumah Wawasan].

Blame my mobile phone for the bad quality.

Our church members visit them every week.

Aunty Audrey messaged me and asked me to play the keyboard for their worship. Went there a few times before. ( They’re moving soon! )

They teach the children about the LORD, biblical stuff and worship. Like our weekly youth meeting.

They enjoyed it.

Here’s Aunty Ruby teaching. Today’s teaching is about the 5th commandment which is to honour your parents.

Aunty Araya is the chinese translator.

The orphans.

The Indian girl in blue is a genius! Aunty Audrey asked her to translate English-Indian (to tell the other kids the do-s and don’t-s about worship) and she did it fluently. She didn’t even stop to think. And she can recite the commandments so well! Hope she gets to further her studies.

They’re smart.

The orphans taught me to be satisfied with every little thing in life.

Some people are so grouchy about their littlest imperfection in life.

Well, take a look at these orphans, sucker! Be grateful!

Days After Retirement

Gazing into my future…

*Skipping to the last few chapters of my life*

Wooohooo! *with a Homer Simpsons voice*

I’ll earn lots of money before I retire.

After retiring, I’ll move to New Zealand. My kids will be grown up and have their own family.

This is where I will be staying with my future husband. A cottage by the lake. And I’ll “modernize” the interior of course.

And I wanna be a shepherd!

These are my sheep.

My sheep and the river beside my cottage.

And I’ll have some huskies to help me watch after my sheep.

And I’ll rare some livestock. And definitely a CAT.

If I’m bored of country life, my husband and I will go to the city, to do some shopping, to socialize, etc. On Sundays, we’ll go to a church, where we can worship and fellowship.

And of course,

To gaze upon the city’s night view with my darling.

And I’ll call up some old friends….

And sing together with our shaky voices. You guys can stay at my cottage. There will be a lot of rooms. We can go swimming with our saggy bodies and wrinkles all around with the swimsuit which doesn’t fit us anymore, go fishing, and do some painting too. And when it’s winter time, I’ll make sweaters for my darling and we’ll cuddle up together. And my children and grandchildren will be visiting us too.

We’ll sit back, in a hammock perhaps, and we’ll chat about “the days”, and we’ll be sipping our glass of wine,

It’s Friday night and my dad literally conquers the tv.

I was planning to finish up prison break (dvd) and watch white chicks.

Looked at my blog, realized that I have only 13 posts for the past 5 months.

So I’ve decided to write something / anything to increase the digits.

My 17th Birthday

15th March 1991.
